We recently upgraded all systems in our organization from Acrobat X to Acrobat XI. Since the upgrade employees have begun to see the following error message when they attempt to print to pdf:
This was seen when trying to print to pdf from Outlook 2013
When trying to print from a web browser, the following error was thrown:
This was using Firefox for Windows, version 23.0.1
I also had a user try to print from Word 2013. No errors were thrown, but there was also no pdf printed.
Here is what I have already tried without success:
- Make sure that only Acrobat XI was installed
- Remove old versions of Acrobat if any
- Remove Adobe Reader if present
- Repair Acrobat XI Install
- Clean Registry
- Reinstall Acrobat XI
- Uninstall Acrobat XI
- Reboot
- Clean Registry
- Reboot
- Install Acrobat XI
- Reinstall PDF Printer
- Remove current pdf printer
- manually install pdf printer
With some employee's I am able to direct them to work-arounds, but this is far from a 'fix,' especially for the majority of our employees.
If anyone can direct me to a fix for this issue I would greatly appreciate it!
