Hello everyone,
I am digital printer using a xerox 700 digital press running Creo Rip Software. Lately I have been running into some issues when printing from Acrobat 10.1.1.
First: When I choose print from Acrobat it makes me choose a paper size. This not a problem if I am printing a standar sized document ( letter or tabloid ) but often I need to step out busines cards and post cards. So what I usually do is just choose a paper size that is close. Now whats strange is that once it gets to my Creo rip software some times it sees the file as the document size and sometimes it sees it as the paper size. I am sure it's a setting in Acrobat but I am not sure where to look. Does any one know how to get some consistancy in this situation.
Second: I have been running into an issue that when I print from Acroabt or Photoshop my white letters are getting some dot gain noise. The odd thing is when I print from Indesign I dont have that problem.
I am hoping some one out there also uses Creo or has some experience with it. I am having difficulty finding any support for Creo and unfortunitly thats the software I am stuck with.
So if any one has advice or good links I should check out I would be very greatful.
