I am trying to troubleshoot why Acrobat gives me the message that a file cannot be saved because it is currently open in Acrobat.exe. I cannot delete the file because it says it is open. I have shut down, logged out, you name it, no Acrobat files are open. Task Manager does not show any Acrobat or for that matter any Adobe processes at all. What gives? I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro Version 10.1.4, Win 7 although for the record I have also gotten this message in WinXP. Is there some fix to this?
