Print to PDF from Acrobat DC won't print to network mapped drive

Has anyone seen or better yet, solved this issue?  We just purchased copies of Acrobat Standard DC (2015) for all of our offices and I am suddenly the object of mad employees who want to burn me at the stake.

I removed the previoius Adobe Standard 9.x version which worked just fine.

Here's what's going on.

If you pull up a document (office document) and try to print to the Adobe PDF Converter printer, it correctly pops up and asks you where you want to save the resulting PDF document.

If that location is on a local drive, you're in business.

If that location is on a mapped network drive, not so much.  Here's what happens.

Is asks you where you want to save the PDF file it will create.

You tell it a mapped network drive.

The screen goes away as if it printed it (same exact behavior as if we picked a local drive)

Only problem is the document never shows up.  It flat out won't create the PDF and it won't give you any sort of indication that it didn't do it.

Anyone?
