As of recently, our employees have been having issues printing any set of consecutive abobe pdf files from Outlook using quick print. We have narrowed this issue down to it being the following:
-Any computer that is running any form of Abobe Acrobat.
-Is printing more than one PDF consecutively.
-This issue only occurs on this network.
-only has issues when doing consecutive prints when selecting multiple files to print at one time. Only first one prints.
-Only has issues with consecutive pdf prints when selecting emails First email will print with its PDF. Second file, whether it is in the same email or another email that has been selected to print, will error out.
-Only the first PDF will stay in the temp folder. The other files in the print will show and disappear right before adobe gives an error.
-It happens on any of the printers. We have multiple printer vendors and all drivers are up to date.
-Only happens when Adobe is set as the default program for the said file extension. (PDF, PDFXLM, etc.)
We have tried
- updating all the drivers for the printers
- updating Adobe Acrobat
-uninstalling Adobe Acrobat
- installing / using i different version of Adobe Acrobat. ( Reader, Dc, XL, XL Standard, Etc)
We are successful when using other Pdf readers to quick print or print multiple files.
We are stumped as to why this is happening all of a sudden.
Last week it was working properly.
All printers are mapped from our local Domain Controller.
Any computer that connects and prints from that domain/ network has an issue.
Once again this only happens with Adobe PDF files. we removed all Adobe software using a removal tool and installed another reader like FoxIt and the printing work just fine except no collate options.
when we installed Adobe acrobat back up the issue started up again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. this issue lowers our employee productivity due to the high volume of PDF prints that we do daily and it takes to long to print each file individually and select one email and file at a time.
thanks
