This error as only started happening with my users this week, the week of 8/18/2014. PDF documents that I have created, I will have a page where there is a translucent image as the top layer of a few pages of the pdf. Whenever anyone tries to print these pages in Adobe Reader, it causes their printer to stop printing and/or print an error page.
This is something that I've been doing to pdf documents for months now, and only this week, I've had many users having an issue printing across many different configurations and printers, without any consistency other than printing these pages that printed without issue before. I have had to had many different users change their settings to print the pdf as print to image to correct this issue. What exactly happened in the last release that is causing me so many issues all of a sudden?
