I am running a clean install (not an upgrade) of the release version of Windows 10, and am a Creative Cloud subscriber with a number of installed Apps, including Acrobat DC. If I print to the installed Adobe printer driver from Word (2010) or Notepad, the driver prompts for a filename in the normal way but then reports an error, despite successfully producing the PDF file. The file also remains in the spooler queue. Interestingly, trying to print the Notepad file to the Adobe driver from EmEditor also provokes an error notification, but then causes the print process to hang without producing an output file. 'Save as Adobe PDF' from Word works normally. I had no similar problems under Windows 7. Does anyone have any clue as to what is going on and/or how to fix the problem(s)?
