Different values Acrobat - Photoshop - Enfocus Pitstop

I'm going crazy since my company has decided to check the Total Area Coverage on every single page we print.

The main problem that i found out is:

I have different values If i measure a CMYK area with:

Acrobat Output Preview

Enfocus Pitstop

Photoshop

Has someone experience on these cases?

The "Poster" function option is disabled or greyed out. What's the fix?

I have a PDF that is at 8x11.  I want to enlarge and print across multiple pages (4 pages by 4 pages) but the Poster button is greyed out and won't let me select it.  I've even tried enlarging the page size but that doesn't fix the issue.

Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.1.0 distiller ICC profile error asks for reinstall

I have Windows XP professional, SP3.

My Systems Administrator recently upgraded my Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 to 9.1.0 and since then I keep getting an error that says: Distiller cannot find its standard ICC profiles. Please reinstall Adobe Acrobat to correct this problem.

This error happens when:

1. I print to Adobe from a web page (IE 7.0.5730.11 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.20)

2. I try to print to any printer from certain websites, such as the usps.com, where I print all our postage labels from.

3. Occasionally when I start up the PC.

Sometimes I get the error but it still pdfs the page. Usually, though, it hangs and then Acrobat and the web browser close.

I seem to be able to pdf MS Office 2007 items (Word, Excel) and my Filemaker Pro Advanced 10 records. I guess it's when I'm "printing" to Adobe as opposed to "saving as pdf" that I have this problem.

Acrobat 8 worked fine. My Sys Admin has reinstalled the upgrade twice (after trying a repair which didn't work) to no avail. He can't find any documentation about this error at Adobe, so he's going to uninstall it and switch me back to Adobe 8.

I do all of the pdf'ing of our deliverable documents at my company and I would like to have the latest edition of Acrobat. If anyone knows of anything I can do, please let me know.

Thanks!
Stephie

Set Default Print Setup

Okay, you see how Paper Size says Legal?

Print Setup.jpg

I want to find out how to make it default to Letter because sometimes something will print, say from e-mail, as a PDF & I don't get the option to change it. And, frankly, sometimes I just wanna click Print & OK & be done with it.

And, yes, I've gone into Printer Properties a zillion times to make sure it's set to Letter there:

Thanks a million!

Resolving printing problems with Yosemite and Acrobat Pro 10

Recently upgrading my MacBook Pro OS to Yosemite I find that I cannot print pdf files within Acrobat Pro 10.  Acrobat seems to be printing fine but only blank pages come out of the printer.  All other applications print normally including pdf files opened in Preview.  I don't think it is an issue with my Fujitsu scanner or with my Brother HL 5470DW printer.  My Acrobat is up to date, the printer has the latest firmware, and the MacBook has the latest printer driver.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

printing multiple documents in single pdf on double sided printer

What is the best way to print a PDF document with a large number of documents so that the start of a successive document does not end up printing on the back page of the prior document? Each document has a cover page and could be used as a "key", but not sure how to set that "cover page" as the key which could then be used to instruct the printer to start on a new page - almost as if a new print job??

Double-sided print job won't print. Epson WF 3620 preset settings are set to print double-sided and do work.

I recently purchased an Epson WF 3620 and have enjoyed using it thus far.  One of its features is double-sided printing.  It is one of the presets that have worked flawlessly along with all other features of the printer.

Earlier today, I created a PDF document from an article on the web using an app called Clean Print.  I wanted to print it out for reading purposes later and wanted it to print out using the preset double-sided print feature.  With the document visable in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I clicked the print icon and, unfortunately, the double-sided feature didn't work.  I attempted it again and have looked at every option on the printer window but it appears that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Epson aren't playing nicely with each other???  This feature works well as I said but not with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.   All applications, OS X software, printer software, etc are updated.

Does anyone have any recommendations for solving this problem?

Thank you for your assistance!

Color issues in Mountain Lion with Acrobat Pro

I'm not sure I'm in the right forum, but here it goes.

Since upgrading my OS to Mountain Lion, I've noticed  when viewing PDFs output from InDesign 5.5 that once in Acrobat Pro the colors look muted and inaccurate.  I never saw this in Snow Leopard, hence my posting.  Color in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5.5 seem just fine, it's only when a PDF is viewed in Acrobat that I see this muted color issue.

What I'm concerned with is are these problems when viewing only, or is the PDF color range itself screwed up?  I do prepress work and am using an Eizo CG241 display, CS5.5 and Acrobat Pro 10.1.4.

Thanks!

Acrobat shows blank PDF in Print Preview

Opening a PDF in Acrobat DC works fine. When printing in Acrobat, though, the print preview (and the actual print) are blank.  I have been opening the file in Acrobat Reader DC and can print normally from there.  Really, really annoying.

Printing every nth page in Acrobat

I have a 1500 page PDF that is comprised of 500 3-page surveys where it works better for me to print all of the page 1s (1, 4, 7, etc) then all the page 2s (2, 5, 8, etc) then all the page 3s (3, 6, 9, etc), then fold and manually collate them. When it was only a 2-page survey I could print even or odd pages, but I'm not seeing anything like every 3rd or 4th or nth page.

Any ideas?
